bored, bored... even more boring stuff... anyone guess that joe is bored?

so, i'm officially positively absolutely bored. that's it. nothing more. i have spent the whole day on the computer, looking for a job, different possibilities, and i always end up on facebook and email. does anyone else see a problem with this?

so mainly, i am looking at one job possibility... the air force. yup, i'm actually considering joining the air force. why? quite a few reasons, actually... money, experience, a chance to see some of the world, but mainly one thing. i'm planning on being the president, so i believe that anyone who wishes to pursue that ambitious job should have military experience... i'm still praying and thinking about it, (in that order) but i am getting more and more sure of it every day... possible jobs i am looking at will most likely be intelligence or UAV's... possibly some helicopter work, but not likely...

so yeah.. i'm still bored... hopefully y'all aren't as bored as i am...

fun stuff for cameras...

so yeah... i am pretty much set on getting the sony nex-vg10... as such, i am looking into different attachments that would help with filming...

first thing on the plan is the skycrane... not the helicopter, but a awesome camera accessory... this is perhaps the key to doing professional video... great angles, movement, everything... link here: http://www.skycrane.com

second? i am looking at screens for that boom... this means the camera can be 20 feet from me, and i can control it perfectly, monitoring the sound and video portions of it...

speaking of sound, that leads me to my third item... bose headphones... in about a year, you'll prolly see me with headphones around my neck... not cause i'm listening to music, but for when i'm filming, i can monitor the sound...

fourth improvement will most likely be the videomic. most built-in mics on camcorders are omni-directional. this means they draw sound from everywhere around them... this one is a shotgun mic, which is directional. it means it only draws sound from in front of it, and not behind or to the sides of it. link here: http://www.rodemic.com/microphone.php?product=VideoMic

lastly will probably be one of those nice adidas bags to carry all of this junk around... well, probably two bags... that will bring me to a grand total, (if i make the skycrane myself) probably around $2800.... whew... now i'm exhausted just looking at that number...... :P

So yeah, let me start by saying happy august! we are now in one of the lesser-cool months, but it is still cool... i guess...

my reasoning behind this isn't based on anything, just what i think... I personally prefer the months of april, june, september, and november... i was wondering why, and then i noticed that they are all even months. they all have 30 days. kinda weird, no?

so jordan died... it was really sad... i am going to be really sad for the next month... :( i don't know how i will survive without him.... (for those of you who don't know, jordan is my flash... SB-600) so yeah... i took him in, and they said four weeks... hopefully i can have it back before sam and chelsea have their kid...

so that brings me to another subject... sam and chelsea are having a baby!!! she is due on the 26th, i believe... which is really exciting! they both want me to come down and take pictures... i'm not to sure i would want to do the pictures right after the baby is born, i might just wait a week, and allow her color to balance out.. (they are expecting a girl... in case you didn't know... :P)

so yeah... not much happening over here other than that...

well, i did go play frisbee today... and it rained... and it was fun... :DD
